Problem Note 31998: Applying constraints to a non-required parameter causes the parameter to become required when the stored process executes
If constraints are defined for a stored process parameter that is NOT a required parameter, the constraints will cause the parameter to become required when the stored process is executed from SAS® Enterprise Guide® or the SAS® Add-In for Microsoft Office client.
There is currently no circumvention other than removing the constraints or allowing the parameter to be required.
